Instruction of filling Pitch Changer Selection Tableae3
When you want to buy Pitch Changers, the first thing is contact us. Second is to fill this table.
Following instruction will help you define Pitch Changer.
First: Please write down your contact information, so that KOGA Automation we could know how to contact with you.
Second: Pitch Changer has fixed accuracy.
30mm wide Pitch Changer, positioning accuracy ±0.08mm; Repetitive Accuracy ±0.025mm
50mm wide Pitch Changer, positioning accuracy ±0.05mm; Repetitive Accuracy ±0.025mm
(All Pitch Changers which wide value more than 50mm, poisoning accuracy is ±0.05mm)
Third : choosing pitch for opening and closing.
Minimum Pitch means when sliders moving to middle, distance between each slider. Example like below:
Maximum Pitch means when sliders moving to both sides, distance between each slider. Example like below:
Forth: Choosing heads amount (sliders)
This table means how many objects you want to pick/place at once. Example is below: This pitch changer has 6 heads, so it can pick 6 objects at once.
Fifth: Deciding position of original point
Original point of Pitch Changer means base point of movement. |Standard product model of Pitch Changer, base point is in the middle.
If base point is located in left or right, working length of the last one head (counting from base point) will be longer than standard one, so total length and wide will be gained. Also, the price of this kind Pitch Changer will rise.
Sixth: Choosing position for motor FIRST
Position of sensor installation depends on motor installation. Sensor will be installed on counter side of motor. Please be ware that exchange position of sensor and motor will lead Pitch Changer cannot work. So please check position of motor installation first. Also, if you want motor fixed on top or below Pitch Changer, please let us know. Usually, KOGA Automation will have 15mm from axial end for motor installation. If motor is going to install on top or below Pitch Changer, please let us know. KOGA Automation will have 18mm from axial end to install motor.
Seventh: Proving type, brands and product model of motor.
KOGA Automation usually provides Oriental Motor product models for reference. Still, KOGA Automation wants to know what kind of motors you are going to use is because we need to confirm specification of the motor can operate or not. Due to different position and pitch of pinholes on motors, please provide product model. If the order includes equipment package, please provide diagram of motor.
Eighth: Pitch Changer installation direction
Due to different calculation, please pick which direction to install.
Nineth: The Most Important W, H, L Value
W value means total weight from sliderècylinder/Jaws (including fittings)ènozzlesèproducts.
H value means horizonal distance from center of Pitch Changer to border of products (Please look the pics below)
L value means vertical distance from center of Pitch Changer to border of products (Example below)

If you are not sure, you can provide length of H2/L2, KOGA Automation will help you do calculation and provide the most suitable specification for you.
Above value of W, H and L are for counting moment, service life, loading of sliders and so on. These three are the basic information for planning customized Pitch Changer.
