Instructions for filling in the selection form of variable pitch slides

When a customer has a variable distance requirement, the first step is to fill in the selection form!

Here is a detailed introduction to the common problems of everyone's selection table.

The first step, please leave basic information first, we will know how to contact you.

The second step, the accuracy is fixed!

(For models with a body width of 50mm or more, the positioning accuracy is ±0.05mm. For models with a body width of 30mm, positioning accuracy: ±0.08mm, repeatability: ±0.025mm.
Body width 50mm type, positioning accuracy: ±0.05mm, repeat accuracy: ±0.025mm.

The third step is to choose the size that needs to be opened and closed.

Slider Minimum Pitch: When the sliders are merged, what is the minimum pitch you want in mm.
The maximum pitch of the slider: when the slider is opened, what is the maximum pitch you want in mm.
Example: as shown below

The fourth step, select the desired number of HEAD (slider).

If you want to absorb several materials at a time, fill in several HEAD quantities.
Example : The number of variable pitch Heads in the figure below is 6

The fifth step is to determine the location of the origin.

The origin position of the variable pitch slide table is defined by the position where the slider (HEAD) is merged to the minimum pitch.

The standard origin position is the middle. If the left/right side is selected as the origin position, because the walking distance of the last slider (HEAD) is too long, the total length and width will increase, and the corresponding unit price will also increase.

The sixth step is to select the location where the motor is to be installed.

The installation direction of the SENSOR is on the other side of the motor. If it is installed in the opposite direction, it will not work, so it is necessary to confirm the installation position of the motor.
The standard extension shaft end is 15mm. If the motor is folded back, it will take 18mm to lock it, so you need to confirm it first!

The seventh step is to provide the type, brand and model of the motor to be used.

The seventh step is to provide the type, brand and model of the motor to be used. We uniformly provide the model of Dongfang stepper motor for correspondence, as well as the torque required for the input force of the shaft end, which needs to be filled in because we want to help you confirm whether the motor specification you have selected is applicable.

Because the position and distance of the keyhole of each motor will be different, please provide the brand and model. If you purchase a motor accessory package, you also need to provide the motor image file you want to use!

The eighth step is to fix the direction of the slide table.

Because the calculation method of the force distance is different, you must first confirm the direction you want to install and use to achieve the best use state.

The ninth step is also the most important W, H, L values!

W is the total weight of the product that extends from the connecting block -> cylinder/gripper -> nozzle except for the variable pitch.

H is the distance with the variable pitch, starting from the center point of the variable pitch shaft end and extending to the cylinder/gripper/product (calculated by the longest), as shown in Figure H1 below.

L is perpendicular to the variable pitch, starting from the center point of the variable pitch shaft end and extending to the cylinder/gripper/product, as shown in Figure L1 below.

There is a situation where you are not sure which size of variable distance you will use, so you can specify the length of H2/L2.
We can also do the calculations for you and provide the most suitable specifications for you.

The above W, H, L values are necessary information to help you calculate torque, life, bearing capacity of the slider, so please be sure to provide it!
If you use Kejia cylinder, please fill in the model you want to use. If you use other brand/self-made cylinder nozzles, please provide product specifications and drawings for calculation!
